I am a seventy-year-old professional musician of some 55 years standing, and have written an autobiography entitled LIFE ON THE SKINS:The Memoir of a Drum Addict, for which I would like to find a publisher. I have had copies printed, which, along with 246 pages of text, include more than 50 photographs with captions of my own composition, and can either mail a copy or email any or all of it to you.

How do I have Amazon retract a poetry chapbook they have been using without my consent or paying for. It’s called “Out of The Blue”? Thanks

      Hi Dan

I’m sorry, but I have no idea.

They must have a way for authors with a legal issue to contact them.

    Dear Mark,

Meditation, reflection, and contemplation are all great avenues to travel: especially when any of them lead to inspiration. That statement is supported by over 1200 (twelve hundred) seventeen syllable poems I have composed for more than ten years.
My thinking has been to have those writing published in the form of a journal that would have one of the poems at the top and the rest of the page available for a person to write their own inspired contemplations, reflections and meditations.
I believe in that idea so much that 1095 of the poems have been organized into three volumes of 365 each and volume four is at 162 now with new ones being entered regularly.
If you believe that we can successfully work together to make that vision happen, please reply to this posting soon so I can make the investment in your special $279.00 offer.

      Hi Joe,

Too few agents handle poetry, so I don’t do coaching for that, unfortunately. That said, there are some, and you can find them by doing a Google search.

How do you determine if a literary agent will handle a certain type of political material? For instance, a book that is politically conservative needs an agent that is not offended by the material and work to sell it. Looking for just that.

      Hi Debby,

Conservative literary agents usually say they are, so you can look for that when browsing agent bios.
