Mark,
I had my two books self-published years ago; now working towards obtaining traditional publishers, will they take care of pulling my books off Amazon or is it up to me?
Thanks
Rosemary
Hi Rosemary,
Initially, it would likely be up to you.
However, if you ran into a problem, your agent or publisher would likely help.
All my best,

I am an author about to publish a historical fiction novel, “1914-1918, A Time to Remember,” based on my grandfather. So far, I have no agent or significant publishing house. I have expected to use Gatekeeper Press. However, an advertising executive I have been working with has the concept of publishing the novel close to 2025 Veterans Day and having it appear in a special exhibit in bookstores along with related novels such as A World Undone and All Quiet on the Western Front. Is this something that might interest you?
Hi John,
Re: my interest, do you mean in working with you to see if we can get you an agent?
If so, certainly.

I have been represented by the same literary agent for quite a long time. He’s a member of AAR. Some months ago I discovered that I had not received sales and royalty statements for books he represented for me for the past five years. I have written him a number of emails and he has responded with only a scattering of information. I believe that we are both owed royalty payments. What do you suggest I do? Thank you for your help.
Hi Lee,
Ask for a full accounting, all the statements from the missing periods. If the agent can’t or won’t provide that within 30 days or less, you need a new agent. You might need a lawyer, or consider contacting the Authors Guild.
Let’s hope you don’t need to do that.
Let me know how it goes.
