I have a completed manuscript (84,000 words) YA fantasy set in ancient times, and have been trying to get an agent now for several weeks. Perhaps my queries need work, or the genre is out of touch. I also wrote a children’s story that was reviewed by P. J. Lynch, the writer and illustrator of the recent The Haunted Lake. He has encouraged me to pursue agents. I found almost by chance on the web, so I’m hoping you could direct me further. I am from Scotland UK residing here as a permanent resident. My novel could well fit Harper Collin’s and/or Zondervan Publishing. It is not Christian per se, but there are recognizable troupes that may suggest the above publishers. I have had three editors check my work so far. Could someone read the ms? or offer help finding an agent? Many thanks.
